The modern beachside town of Binningup is located at the heart of the Harvey Shire’s 43km stretch of golden coastline, and is one of the fastest growing towns in the district. Binningup was first put to use as a lookout point in World War II. It was while the soldiers were watching the coastline for the enemy, they visualised their families swimming safely within its shelter. Hence a town formed and now has 1000 residents. Binningup is a popular holiday destination. The beach is sheltered and calm as there is a reef running parallel to the shore. Perfect for the whole family. The fish are easy to catch and the golden sands stretch for miles and miles, perfect for those long romantic walks under breathtaking sunsets. Things to See and Do
