"OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" Moojelup Farm is an award winning boutique winery, specialising in premium Shiraz, Cabernet and Semillon varieties.
Located in the Geographe wine region, in the beautiful South West of Western Australia, Moojelup Farm is easily accessible from the South West Highway, 8 kilometres north of Harvey.
Moojelup Farm has been one of several valuable farming properties in the Harvey area, since the 1870s. Here, fine cattle, sheep and dairy herds have produced the very best beef, wool and milk. A select range of premium wines is now produced on Moojelup, by Stephanie and Simon Holthouse, whose family has farmed it for more than half its history.
With 3 hectares of hand-tended vines, Moojelup’s combination of gravel loam soils, cool winters and warm dry summers is ideally suited to wines of great depth in fruit character, colour and intensity. It is particularly suited to warm climate varieties, of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon, on which its reputation has continued to grow.
Established by Thompson Logue in the 1870s, Moojelup takes its name from the Nyoongar word Mooja, the aboriginal name for the famous Western Australian Christmas Tree.
